Greene and Robinson have worked together many times over the years, and their duet on John Zorn's Tzadik label, Two Voices in the Desert, should be out any day now. Greene, a pianist, got his start in New York's free jazz scene of the '60s, and has since explored the bounds of klezmer music. Robinson, a clarinetist, has performed and recorded with Dave Brubeck and the Galaxie Dream Band. He also co-wrote a book about his experiences in and out of the jazz world.
