Friday
Tonight, the UT Undergraduate Art History Association is hosting an art exhibit and sale at Spider House from 8pm to midnight. The event, named UNTITLED, will feature dozens of artists showing and selling their work at affordable prices that range from $5 to $150. KVRX's My Kid Could Paint That will be providing music, and other tempting teasers include cupcakes, live graffiti by Travis Spinks, clothing from Storyville, jewelry from Eurotrash Girl, and more.
Also tonight, the multi-media art and fashion show, Finery, is having an opening party at IF+D. For more information, check out this post by one of our new Austinist contributors, Jenny Sennott.
Saturday
If you're in the mood to shop, then head over to the Lone Star Ladies' Shop Austin! craft showcase and sale taking place on Saturday at Saengerrunde Hall. The event runs from 11am until 5pm. For more information, check out our full preview post.
The young creative professionals that make up The Æther Project are putting together the Joan of Art multimedia art show, an ASPCA benefit that will feature fifteen local artists who work in a wide range of mediums. There will be art for sale (all pieces priced under $500), admission is free and the event kicks off at 7pm. The Spider House is hosting with $2 drink specials, hors d'oeurves, cupcakes, and entertainment of the musical and cinematic variety.

Sunday
If you're feeling a little creative yourself, head over to Domy Books from noon until 7pm on Sunday. They are one of the official Kidrobot retailers hosting a Munny decorating party. While supplies last, participants will be provided with free Munny vinyl toys to decorate how they please. For more information and inspiration from a Munny gallery, check out Domy's invite.
From noon to 6pm on Sunday, Wally Workman Gallery is having a studio sale for Jennifer Balkan. Balkan's oil paintings are both whimsical and haunting, reflecting her experience studying human psychology. A collection of her older work will be sold at discount through the gallery.
