'Geeks Who Drink' Pub Quiz Expands to Five Nights a Week

Now you can show off your knowledge of "Hunting, Fishing and Drinking: The Three Dude Groups" or "Top 40 Songs Butchered by David Hasslehoff" nearly every night.

Geeks Who Drink hosts live pub quizzes at 60 locations throughout Texas, New Mexico and Colorado. This month, they're expanding the lineup to run five nights in Austin and adding a night in San Marcos as well.

It's free to play and there's no need to sign up beforehand. Just show up and play. You can win free pints and maybe a prize or two. Each night's quiz is original, so you can play each night of the week and not come across a repeat question.

Weekly Austin/San Marcos Schedule:
Monday: Fado Irish Pub: 214 W 4th, 8 pm
Tuesday: Opal Divine’s (Penn Field): 3601 South Congress, 8 pm / The Tap Room: 129 E Hopkins, San Marcos, 8 pm (starts April 28)
Wednesday: Fiddler’s Hearth: 301 Barton Springs, 7 pm
Saturday: Opal Divine’s (Marina) 12709 Mopac at Parmer, 9 pm
Sunday: Opal Divine’s (Freehouse): 700 West 6th, 7 pm

Five nights a week?! Wow.

Most of these people in the photos do not look like geeks at all. Some may look a little nerdy, but that's where I'm drawing the line.
