Friday Night Lights Will Remain On...For Two More Seasons

NBC has renewed the locally-filmed Friday Night Lights through the 2010-11 season. It looks like DirecTV and NBC will stick to the plan they used for this season: DirecTV will show the episodes before they screen on NBC. All but Minka Kelly (Lyla Garrity) will be returning as regular cast members. Kelly will appear in a few episodes, but has signed on to a CW pilot with Jason Dohring (Logan from Veronica Mars).
