When Life Handed Danny Devito Lemons, He Mashed it in Booze and Drank It [Twin Liquors Signing]

Danny DeVito at Twin Liquors
Saturday, March 28
Twin Liquors Marketplace at Hancock Center (Red River and 41st St)
Free, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Veteran actor Danny Devito's latest off-screen venture is a tangy after-dinner digestif known as Limoncello, which is generally made in southern Italy.

The concoction, when prepared at home, generally involves soaking lemons in high-proof grain alcohol for several days before mixing with water and sugar. Devito's, made with organic lemons from the Amalfi coast as per the authentic recipe, is slightly fancier.

The Batman Returns star will be in Austin tomorrow for a special appearance at Twin Liquors Marketplace at Hancock Center, where he'll be signing bottles of Limoncello and, with luck, chatting with fans about It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia and Reno 911!. The free event runs from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., and no actual purchase is necessary.
