We checked in with Stephen Moser, Austin Chronicle's resident social columnist, yesterday afternoon after news of his arrest over alleged arson charges broke. "I send big kisses from the Big House, and love from the Lock-Up," he says to our readers. Moser is currently out of jail and resting in seclusion until the facts of this "nightmare," as he calls it, get sorted out.

only someone who burns others' automobiles in parking garages would act so put out by the whole "arrest process" (see also karma).
laugh.

Someone who laughs at others' misfortunes on anonymous internet comments deserves a good, stiff "arrest process"

That ain't me.
I don't read the high society papers and I don't give a shit about fashion.
it is quite disturbing that a SELF proclaimed local celebrity fashionista can make such a crude statement when its obvious that he is in the wrong. In addition, a few days later I see Moser at Kiss & Fly as if nothing ever happened. To show face like he did was arrogant and ignorant. Nonetheless, it seemed to me that everyone hid their lighters and matches.

I read in Michael Barnes Out & About Column (Sunday print edition, 03/29/2009) that Stephen Moser is Austin's gay icon. So, is Stephen Moser the "new Leslie?" CONGRATULATIONS to Stephen Moser, and I guess we'll be seeing him on the corner of Congress and Sixth St.
