  • Prolific blogger Robert Scoble is leaving his current job with FastCompany, and may announce his newest venture at SXSW. Scoble joined FastCompany about a year ago and has been running their FastCompany.tv site. He plans to continue writing a column for FastCompany magazine, but will not do video for the site.
  • Monday, March 16 looks to be the big party night for Interactive. Festival organizer Hugh Forrest reports there are more than 20 official parties and get-togethers scheduled for that evening, including the annual Nuclear Taco feat, 20 x 2, Plutopia, and the Great British Booze-Up.
  • If you don't have a Gold badge, but still want to see some movies, there are several screenings that are open to Interactive badgeholders, including Ondi Timoner's We Live In Public to Gary Hustwit's Objectified.
  • Mike Rhode's design for the SXSW Interactive tote bag is, in a word, awesome.
