Air Traffic Controllers, When Dinosaurs Ruled the Earth and more at Emo's
Friday, March 4
Emos (603 Red River St)
All Ages, Inside Stage
[info]
Emo's inside stage has a strong, loud lineup planned for this evening, featuring veterans and newbies alike. Air Traffic Controllers has been a project of Gerard Cosloy's for almost fifteen years, and has mutated a significant amount of times. Cosloy is best known as the co-owner of flagship Matador Records, and this experimental, instrumental drums and guitar duo (featuring King Coffey) is one of Cosloy's creative outlets, to say nothing of his sports blog.
When Dinosaurs Ruled the Earth will also play a set of their busy, less-vocals-more-noise art rock. Any doubts about the bands ability to make noise or be hilarious can be quelled here. Also performing is the math rock/funny keyboard sounds quartet Woodgrain, and the nice and noisy riot grrrl duo Follow That Bird!.
