We're collecting all the official and unofficial SXSW-week flyers in our massive slideshow above. After the jump, check out all of the free stuff that you'll find around town, plus a handy guide to how and where you'll need to RSVP for some of the events.
To keep up with Austinist's ongoing coverage of the festival, bookmark our dedicated SXSWist page, or follow us on twitter @sxswist.
We recommend checking out Showlist Austin, Donewaiting, Sched.org, SXSW Baby!, Oh My Rockness, F*ckThisSouthByUp, TheFamoushish, and Do512 as well. There's also SXSW's Parties & Lounges sites (Film | Interactive | Music) and, of course, the official music showcase schedule for more event information.
If you'd like to submit an official or unofficial event for consideration in our listings, send us an email. We'll be updating this page with information throughout the next two weeks.

Thank you for putting all this info in one place. Now my brain can stop exploding. Maybe.
Good work. Two tiny things I noticed; the same Q party is listed twice in RSVP section, as is the Lose Control party at Canvas.
And The Onion AV Club/Decider party at Mohawk is March 20th not 16th (also in RSVP section)
cheers!
@nickc -- many thanks for looking out!
There are actually two different Onion/AV Club parties that week -- the one for SXSW Interactive (Wooden Birds, Evangelicals, The Lemurs, and Low Line Caller) is March 16 @ Mohawk, and the one for SXSW Music is later that week (March 20). Here's a flyer for the first one:

awesome, thanks. Many thanks to Adi Anand also.
