The Austin New Music Co-op is continuing their Willow Street House Concert Series with a recital by New York-based flautist Roberta Michel. The Willow Street House Concert Series is based at - yup, you guessed it - a house located just east of I-35 at 1010 Willow Street. Thus far this house has hosted performances from many local and national musicians, including cellist Erik Friedlander and percussionist Nick Hennies.

This performance from Michel will feature the works of composers including Shulamit Ran, Aaron Alon, and Sean Varah, and will include solo flute, alto flute, and piccolo. Michel has a long history studying, teaching, and performing cutting-edge and atypical compositions. She frequently performs and records solo artist and also with a quartet, The Cadillac Moon Ensemble.

Folks interested attending should RSVP to Travis Weller. Seating is limited, so don't hesitate.
