Tangled up in the network of friends and artists responsible for The Secret Show series, the Annie Street Art Collective and a bunch of similarly-spawned bands, Ted Hadji is a songwriter who, when not performing with The McMercy Family Band, helms his own pop-Americana under his own name but occasionally with the assistance of a backing band called The Wholly Ghosts. Hadji recently completed a new album entitled The Parti​cles Don’t​ Care, and he is posting a track each week on his MySpace in preparation for the May release. If the album as promising as this week's track, "Silent Storm" suggests, we're in for a treat.

Joining Hadji at Beerland will be Victoria Noll, a locally based acoustic songwriter; Lauren Smith, a member of Hadji's entourage who also records under the name Cellar Door with Randall Holt (and is not this musician from Brooklyn); and Nick Walker.
