SXSW Interactive Weekly Roundup [SXSW]
- B.J. Novak (Ryan Howard on NBC's "The Office") has been added to the lineup of the March 14 panel: "Comedy on Television and the Web". Organized by collegehumor.com founder Ricky Van Veen, the panel also features Sean Mills (the Onion), Keith Richman (break.com) and Meredith Scardino (Colbert Report).
- Another recent addition to the panel lineup of SXSWi is singer-songwriter Jonathan Coulton, who has built a huge online following. Coulton will be part of the "Policy Trainwreck: How Copyright Law Failed the Digital Age" panel on March 17, along with Dave Allen (Pampelmoose), Michael Petricone (CEA), Nancy Tarr (rockcandy.tv), and Brian Zisk (brianzisk.com).
- This week, festival organizers launched my.SXSW, the official social networking and scheduling tool for the 2009 conferences and festivals. The tools at my.SXSW are available to those attending Interactive, Music or Film, and include messaging, personal schedules, notifications, interest groups, contact lists, and integration with Twitter and Flickr.
