KLRU Tapings Next Week: Author Carl Hiaasen, Jazz Artist Pamela Hart

KLRU's Studio 6A is keeping busy next week with two more tapings before the end of January. On Monday, they're filing a special episode of local arts series InContext with acclaimed jazz singer Pamela Hart, a multiple Jazz Vocalist of the Year award-winning Austinite who frequently performs around town. On Saturday, Evan Smith returns to host an episode of Texas Monthly Talks with renowned author Carl Hiaasen. A South Floridian journalist and novelist, Hiaasen's extensive bibliography spans children's novels (Hoot, Scat), so-called "environmental thrillers", and assorted nonfiction.
