i've never seen morrissey perform live....years and years ago in new orleans he came onstage, threw daisies at the audience, then left without singing one song! but this comment is to thank you guys - for the good advice - THANK YOU! - good tickets at a good price without all the ticketmaster hassles - NICE! i'm roadtrippin' and will be in AUSTIN AUSTIN AUSTIN for the sunday show WITH my hubby! yippee!

Yeah, there is no way tickets will be close to that in Austin. He's been here what, 3-4 times in the past couple of years? If I remember correctly tickets to the Back Yard show were ~$45 last time.

I love the Mozzer! I don't think Ticketmaster is handling tickets for the austin show so I hope we don't have as much trouble as poor Drizzleliss. Drizzleiss, you should just try to get tix to the Austin show and come here for it. We're not that far away.

I live in Houston - sure box office says $37.-$47. to suck you in and then Ticketmaster supervisor says "go through our sister company TicketsNow" which START at $175. per person. iTunes had a preorder/presale special going on today (thurs. 1/22 at 10am) where if you downloaded the iTunes Morrissey new album for $10. you would be eligible for preorder/presale of tickets. I tried this as well...and from 9:50am to noontime i was on the computer trying to locate ONE available ticket. Online the Ticketmaster browser kept returning with "Sorry, NONE available try again." i find it IMPOSSIBLE TO BELIEVE that ONE ticket from a 5,000 seat venue ordered on a PRESALE date would NOT be available (don't even think about bringing a date or a spouse - NO available tickets). TICKETMASTER IS THE BIGGEST SCAM and i am lodging a formal complaint regarding this particular concert date. Where are you finding these cheap tickets to the Houston show? Because the only tickets I can find are in the $200-$300 range.
