We're proud to present Tapes 'n Tapes at the Parish on January 29, supported by Harlem and Wild Light. Their latest album, Walk It Off, takes the band emphatically beyond 2006's debut, The Loon with haunting keys, gritty guitars and lots of pop energy. The Parish should be the ideal place to see them play, its casual intimacy and excellent sound will undoubtedly suit them well.

New Hampshire's Wild Light will be tagging along with Tapes for much of this tour, prepping audiences for their March 3 release, titled Adult Nights. They've been around since 2005, but have recently come into their own, supporting acts like MGMT, Gutter Twins and Arcade Fire. Not incidentally, Tim Kyle was a founding member of Arcade Fire, and that friendship led to Wild Light's European tour with the Canadian pop masterminds. Harlem is a band to watch here in town in '09, grabbing the interest of folks like Gorilla vs. Bear, RCRDLBL and the Statesman. Grab a couple free songs over at RCRDLBL.

We're proud to be presenting this show with 101X and Beggars Group. To celebrate, we're giving away a pair of tickets early! Follow the jump for your chance to win.
