Check It Out: AMODA Social Series [At the Moose Lodge]
If you haven't had a chance to check out the Moose Lodge yet, here's your chance. Austin's Museum of Digital Art is hosting a mixer for creatives (geeks, musicians, artists, residents of 78704) on Friday; offering cheap drinks, live music and raffle prizes. AMODA volunteers and staff work tirelessly to bring Austin's growing community of digital artists together, while evangelizing the special union of art and technology digital art provides. Always striving to engage the public, the group's Social Series is a perfect opportunity to jump in to our city's vast and gifted art scene.
Expect performances from Dan Gentile at 6:00 pm, followed by DJB Hiney and FM Campers. Raffle prizes will include gift certificates to local supporters Clementine Coffee Bar, Backspin Records, Mantis Salon and Blue Velvet.
