The following has been provided by essayist Chad Wadsworth.

At this year's Fun Fun Fun Fest, Austin photographer Chad Wadsworth took a break from shooting the live performances to spend some one-on-one time with the festival artists and local personalities. Set up in a makeshift studio behind the media tent (sharing space with discarded pizza boxes and other festival detritus), he burnt up the last local stock of Polaroid 669 and 690 film to capture these images as part of an ongoing series of indie rock portraits. The images, captured on a 35 year old Polaroid Land Camera, are a fast disappearing testament to the magic of analog photography.
