Austin Film Critics Association Lists "Dark Knight," "Slumdog" Among Top Picks of 2008

The Austin Film Critics association, which draws from various members of the local film and media industries, today announced its picks for the year's best movies. Winners included The Dark Knight (Best Picture), Heath Ledger (Best Supporting Actor), and the Swedish film Let the Right One In (Foreign Language Film). Local documentary Crawford, which we've mentioned numerously here on Austinist, was the association's pick for Best Austin Film. [Austin Film Critics 2008 Awards]
