¿Cómo se dice...Pigeonholed? I get that being head football coach at UT is a sweet gig, but dangling such a carrot 8 years in front of a coordinator? That's a lifetime in football. I'd say go out and take a chance on building a program at a lesser dominant school. See what kind of a coach you can be without the UT Athletic Department powerhouse behind you. You can always come home again Muschamp. And if UT wants you bad enough in 8 years, they'll certainly give you the strong payday to come back.
