<description>&lt;p&gt;Jesus H. -- I wasted 7 years of my life staining concrete and it&apos;s fucking easy whenever the concrete is clean.  The hard part is taking up adhesives from concrete that needs to be stained.

As for concrete being functional, it&apos;s only functional for countertops.  I don&apos;t care how many layers of foam you put on it, you may as well be laying on your damn sidewalk if you want to sit for any amount of time on concrete.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
