Write It Down: Broken Social Scene at Bass Hall in January

Canada's Broken Social Scene music collective is making a stop in Austin at the Bass Concert Hall on January 31, 2009. The Juno award-winning group's most recent full-length, self-titled, was released way back in 2005, but the entire gang has been busy: Kevin Drew and Brendan Canning both have solo works out, Feist has released two full lengths, Emily Haines and Metric have been busy touring. The affiliated record label, Arts & Crafts, has also been productive, releasing albums by Stars, Apostle of Hustle, and the Stills. Tickets to this show go on sale November 21 through UTPAC, but you can go right here to buy them presale.
