Last Meeting of Austin's Live Music Task Force is Tonight
The Live Music Task Force, created in late January, is hosting its final meeting tonight at 6 p.m. in the Austin City Hall Boards & Commissions Room. Anyone wishing to speak at the public gathering should plan to arrive early and sign up in advance; each speaker will be allotted three minutes. The task force, initially assembled to address four key components affecting this city's music industry and community (Entertainment Districts, Music Venues, Sound Control, and Assistance for Local Musicians), will take all public feedback into consideration before presenting its findings and final recommendations to the City Council later this month.
