Gump, which follows the adventures of a dim-witted Southerner as he unwittingly stumbles through of some of American history's most well-known events, has been admired and reviled in equal measure since its release. Some have hailed it as a glowing tribute to the 20th Century, while others insist it's no more than a mushy piece of pop culture pap (we're firmly in the latter camp).
What's clear, though, is that the film contains some downright fantastic raw material for the folks at Master Pancake Theater, who'll be continuing their wildly popular Gump lampooning this weekend at the Alamo. The Pancake crew had recently put the show on hold to make room for their Halloween gigs, but they're bringing it back for several more performances during the month of November. We haven't seen it yet, but word is it's one of the funniest, most un-P.C. Pancake shows ever.
