Ticket Giveaway: Saturday @ Fun Fun Fun Fest

The 2008 Fun Fun Fun Fest is just around the corner and we hope you've been enjoying our lead up coverage. This year, a solid dose of comedy has been added to the usual punk, indie, hip hop, and electro entertainment on offer at Waterloo Park -- check out the detailed schedule here. And keep checking the Austinist for many more interviews and artists profiles all week.

We'd like your Monday to start off just right as we approach the inevitable good times this weekend -- enter (further) below for a chance to win two tickets to Saturday's shenanigans. The possibilities are endless for a stellar Saturday at the Fest -- you could head over to Stage 3 early and catch Yuppie Pricks and Mammoth Grinder. After rocking your face off, you'd realize it's time for lunch and hit up Starlite's delicacies or experience a pie from Boomerang's. As you take a casual stroll after eating, take a moment to applaud the brave who dare to exhibit their skills at the Find N Grind Skateshop mini-ramp (or the sumo wrestling ring!) The extremely gifted one-man band that is El Paso Hot Button (Mickey Reece) will keep you at Stage 2 with noisy concoctions galore; follow that up with a solo set by Rival Schools' Walter Schreifels at the same stage at 3 p.m.

A break in your schedule? Surely you want a ride on the mechanical bull to impress your friends or significant other. Or if that doesn't tickle your fancy, refresh with a smoothie from the Daily Juice stand. A triple shot of legendary acts might be next on your agenda -- Black Heart Procession, ...And You Will Know Us by the Trail of Dead, and Rival Schools take over Stage 1 to possibly consume the majority of your afternoon but if you've had enough Schreifels for one day, take a chance on the comedic offerings of the local ColdTowne Theater back at Stage 2 at 5:30 p.m. Grab a brat from Best Wurst, re-energize at the dance party on Stage 4 with Dan Deacon, and prepare yourself to make the toughest decision of the day for only you can decide whether The National's oh-so-perfect-for-the-evening set on Stage 1 or the massive Dead Milkmen reunion show on Stage 3 will provide an impeccable end to your Saturday at Waterloo Park.
This contest is closed - congrats to our winner!
