Show Preview: Silent Land Time Machine Album Release at The Parish

The mysterious and (and mysteriously soothing) instrumental project Silent Land Time Machine will release its debut album &hope still in conjunction with a performance at The Parish alongside Silver Pines and Andrew Tinker, the latter being one of millions formerly in The Polyphonic Spree.

What we do know about Silent Land Time Machine is limited to the slow-building, ephemeral tracks we’ve heard, ones which nod to post-rock instrumentalists Thee Silver Mt Zion and more. Otherwise, Silent Land Time Machine would rather the music do the talking, and all power to ‘em. The new album is a joint release from Indian Queen and Time-Lag records, with limited edition, numbered editions of both vinyl and cd copies offered for purchase.

The dreamy San Marcos band Silver Pines, who impressed us with their country-shoegaze charms on past releases, will also perform. Andrew Tinker’s chipper piano pop is also set for the bill. Tinker has spent the last few years playing with the aforementioned Spree and other Denton/Dallas projects while also studying at the University of North Texas’ renowned school of music.
