oh come on. They could just be suburbanites from LeanderParkPflugerRock - like the half of whom thought Clarksville was "down in south Austin" when they were at my condowarming years ago. That grammar is confusing enough I'm going to leave it like it is. Dag, yo.

Not only can most people not find Hyde Park on a map, there are a lot of people who think they live in Hyde Park but don't. And I think that's Hyde Park East, you know, like Travis Heights East.

actually, where Hyde Park really is is within the part labeled so eloquently (and typical for Austin idiots) Red State Texas. If 35th street north to Braker is worthless Red State Texas and South Dallas, then what about the 1/3 of the city that's actually further out than that?
