Visiting Asia, South America and Europe in one night could seem like a rather daunting task to someone without some sweet teleportation skills or a bankrolled time machine. Even if you could make it to all three, you would probably not have the minutes or digestional fortitude to sample the multitude of tastes that each place has to offer. Luckily for us, all of these worries will be whisked away on Saturday, October 25th by Lovexotic, a night of sounds, sights and savoriness, hosted by our fave Indian eatery Clay Pit.

Celebrating cultural heavyweights the world across, Lovexotic will feature three regionally themed lounges, brimming with curious cocktails and peerless plates, created especially for this event by Austin ares chefs and mixologists. We will get the chance to sample the faire of Thailand, India and Japan in the Asia Lounge, France, Italy and Greece in the European lounge, and Mexico, Argentina and Brazil in the South American Lounge, all of which will include cocktails and wine pairings designed by Bill Norris of Fino and David Alan and Joe Eifler of Tipsy Texan.

Lest we get lost in the magic and mystery of it all, let us remember that Lovexotic benefits Family by Choice, a local, non-profit organization that helps the Gay, Lesbian, Bi-Sexual and Transgendered community, as well as singles, traditional, and non-traditional families throughout the state of Texas, navigate the treacherous waters of the adoption process. Providing information and education in all realms of adoption, foster care, and parenting, Family by Choice helps families locate and connect with appropriate licensed adoption and foster care placing agencies, as well as other needed services. If there is one thing we can say for sure, it is that there are countless children that need to be adopted in this world by loving families, and anything we can do to aid that process is a mitzvah. Accomplishing that goal while enjoying some tasty business is what we would call a win win win situation.
