Fun Fun Fun Fest Giveaway & Lineup Announcement

Austin City Limits Music Festival is done and dusted for another year and we’re still many months away from SXSW fever. That must mean the time is ripe for our town’s little fest that could, the fast emerging Fun Fun Fun Fest, presented by Transmission Entertainment. This year’s edition will take place on November 8th and 9th at Waterloo Park and once again, Austinist is a proud media partner. Fun Fest has been improving steadily -- what started out as a three-stage event on a cold winter day in December 2006 and then redefined itself as a two-day shindig in 2007 now officially boasts four stages to showcase the conglomeration of indie, punk, electro, and comedy acts.

You already know some of the big names -- The National, CLIPSE, Frightened Rabbit, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, Atmosphere, YACHT, Dan Deacon, Minus The Bear, Bouncing Souls, Deerhoof, The Annuals, Parts & Labor, and Magnetic Morning featuring Adam Franklin (Swervedriver) and Sam Fogarino (Interpol). Veteran California band The Black Heart Procession and “America’s Funnyman” Neil Hamburger were recently added to the bill and we cannot forget about the return of Rival Schools and of course, the Dead Milkmen reunion.

Local talent is in the mix as well -- the existing cast (that includes …And You Will Know Us By The Trail Of Dead, Grupo Fantasma, The Ugly Beats, Krum Bums, World Burns To Death, Brownout!, Matt Bearden, Frank Smith, Til We’re Blue Or Destroy, Richard Henry, and Born To Lose) has been improved further with the addition of The Black Angels, The Octopus Project, Golden Arm Trio, James Petralli (White Denim), Black Joe Lewis and the Honeybears, Ume, Camp X-Ray, and Terp 2 it.

You can get your tickets via Front Gate Tickets, or enter below for a chance to win a two-day pass on us:
