I was disappointed that the abortion issue didn't come up during the VP debate. I'm not sure many people realize exactly how anti-choice she is. Still, all the whining about Gwen Ifill's supposed conflict of interest should be put to rest now. A very evenly conducted debate.

She is not pro-choice. She believes that even a daughter raped by her father should have to have the baby (see her recent interview). She is no-choice and a Bible thumper.

She's pro-choice and evangelical. Of course she'd energize Texas Republicans. The majority have no platform. Just a check-list for their politicians beliefs. They don't want any particular legislation passed, they just want to have faith that God is leading their official.
