Show Giveaway: The Juan Maclean @ The Mohawk on Monday!

Learning Secrets has been keeping busy. Founder Ian Orth reported big plans for the entity when we caught up with him in April, Learning Secrets then teamed up with Transmission Entertainment to bring us Riton in July, and we are eagerly awaiting details on their massive five year anniversary celebration coming in January of 2009.

Meanwhile, this Monday, Learning Secrets and Transmission Entertainment present a special evening with an electronica luminary -- DFA Records artist The Juan Maclean (a.k.a. John Maclean) will perform live at The Mohawk with a band consisting of members of acts such as !!!, Holy Ghost!, and LCD Soundsystem (not his buddy James Murphy though).

The Juan Maclean is touring in support of the “Happy House” single which has naturally been quite the hit at dance parties around the globe since its release in March of this year. His second full-length on DFA, The Future Will Come is appropriately due early next year. Maclean has had occasional DJ stints at shows and parties in town in years past; check out the full band experience live on Monday evening on us!
