Austinist Indieroke Reminder: Tonight @ The Mohawk!

Austinist Indieroke returns this evening at The Mohawk. We have brand new Indieroke shirts that will be awarded to the “Best Female Performance,” “Best Male Performance,” and “Best Duet or Group Performance.” There will also be an “Early Bird Prize” for the best performance between 9 p.m. and 10 p.m. Yes, we want you to come down early.

Austinist Indieroke launched in December of last year and has since entertained many a karaoke lover in town with the ridiculously talented and the not so gifted showcasing their vocal ability (or lack thereof) at every event. Everyone is welcome and we have plenty of music you can choose from. So grab that microphone to perform your version of a classic by The Arcade Fire or Spoon. You can sing “Sing” by Travis or “And Your Bird Can Sing” by The Beatles. Or just save your best for a late night rendition of a Radiohead or Fleetwood Mac favorite. The choice is yours. Tonight’s Indieroke will take place in the inside bar downstairs. Details below:
