the content of michelle obama's speech might have been better. but it looked like kennedy was wearing an IV under them bandages on his left hand. and when i listened, it was the thunder of a dying man. doesn't that take the cake? or we give them both five stars good idea

While I don't blame DCist for trying to make the free drinks and DeVotchKa, they missed out by heading out during the opening of Michelle's speech. She did so much more than convince the crowd she was a working mother, and she left Kennedy, as good as he was, in the dust.
