Seriously, who is advocating hippie hollow as a location for this event?!? The author of this article? There's no link to any sort of local organization. As everyone else here has mentioned, it's perfectly legal for men and women to walk down Congress Avenue bare-chested. No need to ride bikes all the way out to Hippie Hollow. And there's no fucking way APD would hassle topless women out there. As the clueless tone of this article demonstrates, there is a lack of awareness in Austin that women are free to bare their boobs in public. So perhaps a public event like this will help spread awareness. Seth

It pains me to think there are probably guys actually wanting this to happen. Can you imagine the visual scars we'd be subjected to if this were to become a norm. Trust me, girls who want to show and have tits that people want to see are already flashing in public on a selective basis. Last thing we need is women with tits down to their waist walking around downtown...oh wait, we already have Cedar Street, my bad.
