ACL 2008 Official After Party Information Release!

Summer isn't over until ACL Fest closes out the hot and dry season at Zilker Park. This year's lineup boasts a handful of up and coming local acts, a diverse middle tier and headliners Beck, Robert Plant & Alison Krauss and Foo Fighters. Check the schedule for details if you haven't already made your choices.

Even though most of the action happens in the park, Austinites know that with any big festival comes a host of after-parties and shows that don't require hundreds of dollars and eight gallons of water to survive. This year, ACL Fest is hosting quite a few official after parties and shows, featuring the talents of Gnarls Barkley, Manu Chao, the Butthole Surfers, Conor Oberst, Bill Callahan and Jose Gonzalez just to name a few. Follow the jump for all the details on these shows and parties, and let us know what you'll be attending after your long day either wiping sweat off yourself at Zilker or patiently waiting by a box fan for nightfall.
