Austinist Show Preview: The Invincible Czars w/Bubba Hernandez y los Super Vatos @ Jovita's

Austin locals the Invincible Czars must bid adieu to their drummer of four years, Tommy Holton. Holton gives it one last go this Saturday for the band's show at Jovita's. Although he's making his official exit, recording for the band's forthcoming album, Fortissimo, had already been completed, meaning he'll live on at least in that.

The band is promising an extra-long set for the occasion, and other special tidbits, including a slideshow of Holton's time with the band -- you know, like a family vacation, but louder and with less awkward photos of Aunt Millie grinning in front of the graves of famous people.

Opening for the big hurrah will be Bubba Hernandez y los Super Vatos. Hernandez is a former member of Texas polka fiends Brave Combo. The show promises fun times all around. And, well, who doesn't love fun times?
