Dormitory Escape Plan Foiled By Elevator

Like a story from the pages of The Onion, over two dozen teenage cheerleaders managed to get themselves stuck in a dormitory elevator at UT Austin last night. The 26 girls, participating in a cheerleading camp on campus, wanted to "see how many girls they could fit" inside, said one campus spokesperson to the Statesman. Several of the girls fainted during the ensuing fracas, which was finally resolved after emergency officials arrived some twenty minutes later. No one was seriously injured.
