Yesterday's hijacking of a Capital Metro bus from downtown Austin turns out to have been a lie. Police today arrested the pregnant bus driver, who now faces charges of perjury and making a false report to a peace officer. The ensuing manhunt after yesterday's announcement caused a mild uproar among residents in Southwest Austin, where the imagined hijacker was believed to have fled. [KXAN]

Yeah. I was on a bus with a disturbance, and CapMetro security was on there within a few stops. They're pretty serious about keeping the buses secure.
