ArtSpark is back this year, and five theatre productions—the culmination of the theatre showcase for the 2008 festival—are currently running. HBMG's annual festival throws together creative teams of musicians, visual artists, marketers, and theatre producers or video game designers with the goal of creating a play or video game. The company provides production support (a budget, workspace, industry workshops, and equipment), and the teams' efforts result in some fascinating work. Two winning teams receive $15,000 in prizes.

One of this year's teams, Élan Productions, has developed a play with music titled di[verge]. The piece examines the notion that only five different moments in your life affect its ultimate outcome, and asks the question, "Do we ever really accept our present, or do we, as people, continue to dream about our past, and what might have been?" Which moments are your five moments? What if you did something different at one of those moments?

It's interesting stuff! If you want to delve into these heady questions gratis, fill out the form below to win a pair of tickets to this Sunday's (August 3rd) 2 p.m. performance.

[Congratulations to our winner!]
