Texas Coaches to Speak, Presumably Eat, at Luncheon

Been looking to grab some face time with Mack Brown or new Longhorn defensive coordinator Will Muschamp? Here’s your chance.

Brown and Muschamp, as well as offensive coordinator Greg Davis, will be speaking tomorrow afternoon at the Austin Sports Commission’s inaugural Texas Gridiron Kickoff to be held at the Hyatt Regency Austin. ESPN broadcaster Ron Franklin will be on hand to emcee and interview the coaches about the upcoming season. Local high school standouts will also be recognized as part of the affair.

The event is open to the public, but access to such celebrity ain’t cheap. Tickets are $50 per person, or, if you can round up nine of your closest friends on 24 hours notice, $450 per table of ten. [AustinTexas.org]
