Dead Milkmen to Reunite for Fun Fest 2008

The dog days of summer are setting in, but we're already looking forward to the fall: Transmission Entertainment is confirming that the Dead Milkmen will reunite to headline an evening during the Fun Fun Fun Festival being held November 8 and 9 at Waterloo Park. The Dead Milkmen are a legendary punk outfit known for their snotty, satirical lyrics and jangly-punk guitars.

The Milkmen, founded in 1983, were comprised of Dave Schulthise, Joe Denaro, Dean Sabatino and Rodney Linderman, but will reunite with Dandrew Stevens on bass, replacing Schulthise, who committed suicide in 2004. The performance at Fun Fest marks the first reunion since 2004, when the band played two consecutive nights at Philadelphia's Trocodero. Proceeds went to a variety of mental illness focused charities, as well as a Serbian monastery that Schulthise supported.
