Happy iPhone 3G Release Day: Slideshow

Photos of the line at the AT&T at 5th and Lamar early this morning (and the results of the wait) taken by KEB. It seems that if you were able to buy a 3G iPhone today or perhaps attempted to upgrade the apps for your "old" iPhone, you might have come across some issues.

If you can't view the Flash slideshow above, an alternate version appears after the jump.

The new iphone 2.0 software is an excellent improvement on the original. The appstore has a lot of cool offerings, too. I recommend people STAY AWAY from super monkey ball. It costs 10 bucks and it's harder than hell to control. More frustration than fun.

Bookshelf is a cool eBook reader that lets you upload your own text files & eBooks off your computer instead of getting locked into some proprietary site like eReader does to the user.

AolRadio is amazing. It streams digital music stations to your iPhone over wifi and with a limited offering over the Edge network. Hooray!
