When we caught up with Ian Orth in April, we discovered that he had big plans going forward for his Learning Secrets entity. True to his word, Orth and Learning Secrets deliver a blockbuster party this Saturday in conjunction with Transmission Entertainment at The Mohawk. Besides having a stint at the DJ booth himself this evening, Orth also welcomes fellow local DJ Abominatron to take a stab at the beats. But the ace up the sleeve is British DJ and producer Riton (pronounced Ree-ton) who has wrought dance parties all across the globe and collaborated with artists such as Erol Alkan and Soulwax.

Learning Secrets was kind enough to provide us with a few choice samples of Riton’s work -- you can stream Riton’s “Hammer Of Thor” here and the Riton Rerub of Hercules and Love Affair’s “You Belong” here. Riton plans to release an album this year on Modular under his new moniker Eine Kleine Nacht Musik, inspired by the likes of Kraftwerk, so we’re definitely excited. A very brief preview can be viewed here. Wow! When do the opening strains of “Autobahn” kick in?

Orth has actually released some new mixes too, under his own new moniker, Secret Lips -- check out the remix of Cut Copy’s “Hearts On Fire” here, while the monthly Learning Secrets Podcasts are still going strong; check out the latest edition here.

Oh, and Annie Ray will be on hand with her infamous photo booth to snap up the shenanigans; the theme for the evening is alter-egos!

Follow the jump for a chance to win free admission into this event!
