Today's price for oil per barrel ($144) is 6 times more than it was when that article was written.

6 times more expensive.

I hear complaints about gas prices everyday but when you stop to read the fact that oil only cost $24 a barrel after 9/11/01 it really seems to hit home how F'ed our country has been under the current administration. Jesus.
