North Texas Authorities Capture Suspected Random Shooter

This week the Dallas-Fort Worth suburbs were hit by a series of random shootings. A man shot at multiple vehicles at traffic lights in the towns of Garland, Mesquite, Plano and Richardson earlier this week, and on Tuesday night he walked up to a Garland restaurant and started shooting at customers inside. Luckily the shooter's aim is lacking; no one was hurt in any of the shootings.

Police nabbed their suspect last night after he was found driving a Honda Prelude that had been spotted at the sites of the shootings. North Texas police are mystified as to the shooter's motive, saying that he appears not to have focused on any specific ethnic/gender/racial group in his attacks. The suspected shooter is currently being held in Garland, but his name has yet to be released. He faces charges of child endangerment and aggravated assault, among others.
