Two Former Longhorns Plead Guilty To Robbery
The worst episode from last summer's string of UT football players getting into trouble with the law neared its conclusion Thursday as two former players pleaded guilty to robbery. Robert Joseph and Andre Jones each pleaded guilty to one felony charge of robbery. The punishment goes up to 20 years in prison and a $10,000 fine, but probation is also an option. Sentencing is July 14. Joseph and Jones were arrested in July 2007 on a home invasion charge. Joseph was already off the team at the time after an arrest on a separate burglary charge, and Jones was dismissed after that July incident.
