Plan Your Perfect Austin Day With New CVB Website

Visitors to our fair city can plan their perfect day online now, thanks to the new website of the Austin Convention and Visitors Bureau.

The site, at AustinTexas.org, gives visitors a trip building tool and a virtual timeline as a way of assembling the best activities the city has to offer. Local celebrities, or at least their online avatars, walk you through the site and provide guidance and suggestions along the way.

"This new site raises the bar for online destination marketing," said Bob Lander, President and CEO of Austin CVB. "With interactive videos, personal timelines and extensive information readily available, the site is sure to enhance both the business and leisure traveler's experience."

The site's navigation is tailored to present information to specific audiences like meeting planners, tour guides, film and music industry professionals and just regular folks. You can also explore the site via sections dedicated to your favorite subject, whether it's live music, shopping, food, outdoors, or the arts.
