Ticket Alert: Austinist 'Urges' My Morning Jacket Fans To Act Fast!
Stubb's has been heavy this year with big acts in relatively small confines: we've already seen Justice, R.E.M., Wilco, and The Raconteurs there and it's merely May 15th. The list will continue in August when the pride of Kentucky, My Morning Jacket, headline a scorchingly hot evening at the BBQ venue on August 24th as part of their Evil Urges tour.
Given that My Morning Jacket's legions of fans were cringing when they weren't announced as part of the ACL Fest lineup, and that they also played "Saturday Night Live" last weekend, one can only surmise that tickets for this show will go very quickly. If you can hydrate enough to attend an outdoor show in late August, head to Frontgate Tickets Friday morning at 10am and grab some ducats ($36 plus service charges) before they vanish.

Thanks for the reminder, I had forgotten, what with tickets to see Tom Waits in Dallas also going on sale at 10am.
