We've always known Johnathon Schaech best for his performances as "X" in Gregg Araki's awesomely angsty The Doom Generation and as "Jimmy" in Tom Hanks' Oscar-nominated That Thing You Do!. But it turns out that Schaech is also an accomplished Writer, Director and Producer, having written five feature films, produced three, and directed two (he's also written for Showtime's "Masters of Horror" series, as well as NBC's upcoming horror/thriller series "Fear Itself", which we're pretty excited about).

In other words, the guy's a quadruple threat--and he definitely has some wisdom to share with up-and-coming writers and filmmakers. And this Sunday, as part of the Austin Film Festival's "Conversations in Film" series, he will appear at the Hyde Park Theatre for an intimate discussion about screenwriting, acting and producing. And we've got some tickets to give away!

And he was the guy Winona Ryder's character messed around with in How to Make an American Quilt.
