"Stephen Is One In A Million" Fundraiser At Antone's Tonight

A number of bands, restaurants and businesses will donate time and gifts tonight at Antone's in one of a series of events designed to benefit Stephen Moser's ongoing battle with prostate cancer, a condition currently affecting more than two million American men. Musical acts on hand include Kathy Valentine of the Go-Gos, singer-songwriter Sara Hickman, Eric Clapton sideman Bobby Whitlock with Coco Carmel, Grammy award-winning Ray Benso of Asleep at the Wheel, lyricist and vocalist Chip Taylor (plus a surprise appearance by a Texas troubadour.) The event, "Stephen Is One in a Million" will take place at Antone's with doors opening to the public at 7:45 pm for a donation of $25 per person.

Emcees and guest auctioneers include KXAN's Michelle Valles, KVUE's Mark Murray, MIX 94.7's Miss Kitty, and 107.1 KGSR's Jody Denberg.

The event is open to the public and tickets are available online through Antone's or by calling 512-320-8424.

The schedule follows:

6-7:30pm: Cocktail music - 3 Balls of Fire (VIP Access only)
7:45pm: LIVE AUCTION/ANNOUNCEMENTS (doors open to the public)
8-8:20pm: Kathy Valentine
8:30-8:50pm: Bobby Whitlock & CoCo Carmel
9-9:20pm: Ray Benson
9:30-10:10pm: Sara Hickman
10:15-10:35pm: Chip Taylor
10:40-11pm: Surprise guest
