Farm To Plate Event To Benefit Austin Farmers’ Market And Sustainable Food Center Tomorrow

A host of culinary notables will be on hand tomorrow night for the Farm to Plate fund raising event benefitting the Austin Farmer's Market and Sustainable Food Center. The event will showcase fresh, local food and wine directly sourced from Austin Farmers' Market member farms and local wineries.

Celebrity chef Charlie Ayers ("the chef who fed Google") will be signing copies of his new book, Food 2.0. Other chefs will include Jack Gilmore of Z'Tejas, Rebecca Rather of Rather Sweet Bakery and Rebecca's Table in Fredericksburg, Robert Rhoades of Hudson's on the Bend, Todd Duplechan of Trio at the Four Seasons, Eric Lucas of Fino, John Bates of Asti Trattoria, Mark Chapman of The Cookie Lounge, Quincy Adams-Erickson of Fete Accompli, Mark Spedale of Primizie Osteria, Joel Welch of Kerbey Lane, Terry Conlan of Lake Austin Spa Resort, Jam Sanitchat of Thai Cooking with Jam, Jesse Griffiths of Dai Due, Melanie McAfee of Barr Mansion and cake creator Jennifer Bartos of All in One Bakeshop.

Farm to Plate will be held rain or shine, under a tent at Triangle Park adjacent to the Wednesday Austin Farmers' Market location.
